MIND OVER MATTER

Marikina High School secured fifth place in the Junior High School Quiz Bee at the Division Science Technology Fair 2026 on September 9, earning a spot in the upcoming regional competition.

The team was composed of Lana Bianca D.P. Servidad of Grade 8-Accountability, Gabe J. Quiamco of Grade 9-Alchemical, and Prince Ryne Kai S. Tacata of Grade 10-Assertiveness, with Ms. Rowena C. Centeno serving as their coach.

Sta. Elena High School topped the competition, followed by Marikina Science High School, Parang High School, and SSS Village High School in second, third, and fourth place, respectively.

With their fifth-place finish, the MHS Quiz Bee team advances to the regional level, marking another opportunity for the MHSians to put their scientific knowledge and skills to the test.
