How Far Would You Go to Become Special?

Jepoy follows a young Filipino boy obsessed with superheroes who believes radiation from Fukushima can give him powers. As loneliness, bullying, and the desire to belong consume him, fantasy slowly becomes more believable than reality. More than a story about superheroes, Jepoy is a story about isolation, desperation, and how far someone is willing to go just to feel seen.
