At dawn, the road already feels heavier. A driver watches the fuel gauge drop faster than his earnings rise, each trip costing more than it gives. What used to sustain a day’s work now barely holds it together, turning every drive into a quiet struggle to keep going.
By the roadside, a commuter counts coins with the same worry. Fares climb, budgets shrink, and even the shortest ride feels like a stretch. The burden of rising fuel prices does not stay behind the wheel—it travels with every passenger who can no longer afford ease.
In this shared journey, the line between driver and commuter fades. One carries the cost, the other pays for it—but both endure the same weight. The driver’s fight, in the end, is the commuter’s fight too.
